How to use Feedsly

Everything you need to connect your socials and put a live, on-brand feed on your website — usually in under five minutes, no coding.

1 · Getting started

Feedsly turns your Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube posts into a fast, embeddable widget you drop onto any website as social proof.

1
Create your account. Go to app.feedsly.io and sign up with Google or an email and password. New accounts can start a 14-day Pro trial.
2
Verify your email (email signups) using the link we send, so you can receive service notifications.
3
Land on “Social Accounts.” This is your home base: connect accounts, pick posts, and jump to the designer.

2 · Connect a social account

Each connected account becomes its own widget.

1
On Social Accounts, choose the platform tab — Instagram, TikTok, or YouTube.
2
Paste the handle (e.g. @yourbrand) or the full profile URL, and click Connect.
3
Your posts load automatically. Feedsly pulls the first batch the moment you connect — you'll see “Pulling posts…” for a few seconds, then the grid fills in. No need to click sync.
Only connect accounts you own or have permission to use. Feedsly re-hosts the media on its own fast storage so your widget keeps working even after the social platform's links expire.

3 · Choose which posts to show

1
Click an account in the list to open its feed.
2
Leave Select all on to feature every post, or turn it off and tap individual tiles to curate exactly which posts appear.
3
Need older posts? Click Load 12 more posts to pull the next batch, up to your plan's limit.
4
Happy with the selection? Click Design feed →.

4 · Design your widget

The designer shows a live preview that updates as you change settings.

Changes save to that account's widget automatically. Paid plans can remove the “Powered by Feedsly” badge and unlock custom themes.

5 · Embed it on your website

When you're happy with the design, copy your embed snippet from the designer. It looks like this:

<link rel="stylesheet" href="https://api.feedsly.io/embed/feedsly-widget.css">
<div data-feedsly data-endpoint="https://api.feedsly.io/api/feed?widget=YOUR_ID"></div>
<script src="https://api.feedsly.io/embed/feedsly-widget.js" defer></script>

Paste it into your site's HTML where you want the feed to appear. It works anywhere you can add an HTML/embed block:

PlatformWhere to paste
ShopifyTheme editor → add a “Custom Liquid” / HTML section, paste the snippet
WordPressAdd a “Custom HTML” block to a page or post
WebflowDrop an “Embed” element and paste the code
Wix / SquarespaceAdd an “Embed Code” / “Code” block
Any other sitePaste into the page's HTML
The widget is lazy-loaded and served from a global edge cache, so it adds only a few milliseconds to your page. Your feed updates automatically on its daily sync — you never need to touch the embed code again.

6 · Aggregate multiple accounts (paid)

Aggregation lets you combine several connected accounts into one widget with a single embed code — perfect for showing Instagram + TikTok + YouTube together in one feed.

1
In the designer, turn on Aggregation (available on Starter, Growth, and Pro).
2
Add accounts using the picker — each gets its own colour so you can tell them apart.
3
Drag the cards to set the order, then save. The single embed code never changes, so you can rearrange sources any time without re-pasting.

7 · Collect UGC permissions

Want to legally reuse a customer's or creator's post? Use Permission Collection.

1
Open Permission Collection and create a request for the post you want to use.
2
Send the creator the request link/message. When they approve on the consent page, the post is tagged as rights-cleared.
3
Track the status of every request in the table, and copy the message or link again whenever you need it.

8 · Plans & billing

9 · Account settings

Open Settings (gear icon in the sidebar) to update your display name, change your password (or set one if you signed in with Google), and review your plan, email, and member-since date.

10 · Troubleshooting

My posts aren't showing

Give the first sync a few seconds after connecting. If it still looks empty, click the refresh icon on the account, and double-check the handle is spelled correctly and the profile is public.

A video isn't playing

Videos play on hover (desktop) or autoplay/tap (mobile). They re-host in the background, so a brand-new post may show its thumbnail for a moment before the clip is ready.

The widget looks cramped on my site

It auto-fits its container — adjust the columns and gap in the designer, or place it inside a wider section on your page.
