This policy explains what personal data Feedsly collects, why, how we protect and share it, and the rights you have. It is written to meet the EU GDPR, the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018, the California CCPA/CPRA, the Australian Privacy Act 1988, and the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020. By using Feedsly you agree to the practices described here.

Under the GDPR we rely on the following legal bases:
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for automated decision-making or profiling.
We use two kinds of cookies:

We share data only with trusted providers that help us run Feedsly, each bound by a data-processing agreement:

Some of our providers are based outside the EU/UK (for example in the United States). Where data is transferred internationally, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, so your data keeps an equivalent level of protection.
We keep account data for as long as your account is active. If you close your account, we delete or anonymise your personal data within 90 days, except where we must keep limited records (for example invoices) to meet legal or tax obligations.
We use HTTPS encryption in transit, encryption at rest with our hosting providers, hashed passwords, and least-privilege access controls. If a data breach affecting your rights occurs, we will notify the relevant authority and affected users as required by law (within 72 hours under the GDPR).
Depending on where you live, you have the right to: access a copy of your data; correct it; delete it; restrict or object to its use; receive it in a portable format; and withdraw consent at any time. California residents also have the right to opt out of any "sale" or "sharing" of personal information (we do neither). To exercise any right, email hello@feedsly.io and we will respond within the timeframe required by law.
You also have the right to complain to your data protection authority — for example the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), your EU national authority, the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC), or the New Zealand Office of the Privacy Commissioner.
Feedsly is not intended for anyone under 16, and we do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has given us data, contact us and we will delete it.
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the new version here and update the "Last updated" date above.
